1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL
The 560 SL was specially made for the U.S. where there was a demand for a bigger engine. The 5.6-liter V8 was the top of the line for this R107 and really gives the car the power it deserves. This specific example was bought from the original owner and comes with its original small title, all books and manuals and even its original Window Sticker! On top of that, 1989 was the last year of the iconic R107 which makes it even more desirable.
The original black paint (040) is still in great condition and shows almost no wear. Even on the rear deck lid there are no signs of damage from the hard top. The original wheels are in great shape and have new tires. The chrome trim is all original and also in great condition. The hardtop and soft top are in good condition without any damage.
The original seats in Palomino are in perfect condition. There are no tears in the leather or other damages. The dashboard and the wood trim are not cracked and look like new.
All gauges and switches work as they should. The original Becker Grand Prix is still present and work without any issues.
Mechanically, the car is in great condition. The car starts right up and drives flawlessly. The climate control works and blows cold without funny noises. With only 84.000 miles (134.000 km) this car hasn’t driven much and is well cared by its previous owner.
Overall this single owned car is in great condition and it’s ready to be enjoyed!
