1987 Mercedes 560SL
This amazing 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL just arrived from Palm Springs, California!
The 560 SL was specially made for the U.S. where there was a demand for a bigger engine. This 5.6-liter V8 was the top of the line for this R107 and really gives the car the power it deserves.
This car was delivered new in Santa Monica & was always stored in a climate controlled garage. The original paint ‘Hellelfenbein’ is still in fantastic condition and shows no wear at all. Even on the rear deck lid there are no signs of damage from the hard top.
The interior looks also stunning. The original seats in ‘Palomino’ are in excellent condition and show no cracks or rips. Additional this car features the rare rear seats, which transforms this car from a two-seater into a four seater. Of course these rear seats look just as great as the front seats. On top of that, the electric windows, original radio, air conditioning and gauges still work perfectly. The dash looks as new without any cracks.
Mechanically, the car is in great condition as well. A new power steering pump, steering coupler, tie rods, battery, spark plugs & front brake rotors were installed.
This amazing 560 SL comes also with a new soft top, original jack & toolbox, two keys and original owner manuals. This is a well-cared, collector quality example.
