1974 Porsche 911S Targa

For model year 1974, the body design of the Porsche 911 was comprehensively redesigned for the first time. The most striking feature of this 911 generation is the raised bumper design with black plastic bellows. The chrome mirror was only for the 911S in 1974, which makes it stand out to other model years. This 911S is in excellent condition and mechanically completely gone through.
 
About 10 years ago the car was repainted red. The paint is still in very good condition. Chrome work on the car still shines great. The original wheels are in excellent condition condition. Brand new Vredestein Sprint Classic where installed. The Targa pillar does not have any damages or scratches.
The interior is also on excellent condition. The seats were restored and a new black carpet was installed. All gauges an switches work as they should.
 
Mechanically the car is completely gone through. The matching numbers engine got a new fuel filter, oil filter, oil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cold start valve and a fresh tune up. Also a new thermostat was installed, the main seals were replaced and the timing chain + tensioners as well. Several suspension bushings were replaced. The entire brake system is serviced as well. The S-version had a 25hp increase over the normal 911, making a total of 175hp.
 
Overall this is a very nice 911S is in very good condition with several one year only features and ready to be enjoyed!
