1973 Chevrolet Nova
In 1973 a major overhaul was conducted for the popular Chevrolet Nova. Bumpers, grille and lights were changed and the side quarter windows were enlarged for better visibility. This example is 100% original and was sold new in California. The car came well optioned from the factory with options such as rally wheels, 350ci V8, vinyl seats and radio, but with standard rubber floor covering.
The exterior still wears its original paint called Dark Red Metallic and it shows a lovely patina. All metal is 100% original and never been welded on. There is besides one small rust spot on the lower fender no rust or rot on the car. Even the trunk still looks as new with the original coating and no rust or damages. The chrome is still in good condition with a good shine.
The interior is also still all original, only a newer radio was mounted below the dash. The original radio is still present but not operational. The original seating is in excellent condition with no holes. All the gauges still work as they should. The original rubber floor covering is still present.
Mechanically the car is still in very good condition. The car was well equipped with AC, power steering & power brakes, disc brakes at the front and a 350ci 2bbl engine. The AC is currently not operational but all components are there. The power steering and brakes work flawlessly and suspension is checked and bushings are replaced where needed. The original engine received an overhaul at some point with a new Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock carb. A new alternator was installed. The standard exhaust manifolds are still on the car, but an upgraded exhaust was installed at some point.
The car has currently Dutch registration, we can provide registration in Belgium, Holland, Germany and France if needed.
Overall this is the most original Nova you can buy with plenty of charisma, ready to be enjoyed by the next owner!
