1970 Dodge Coronet
Styling changes applied to the 1970 Coronet included a new distinctive grille and revised rear lights. This specific example came from the factory in the Coronet 440 trim level.
Restored some time ago, the car is still in very good condition. The car was repainted in its original color scheme Burnt Orange during the restoration and still presents very well. The car is not an original Super Bee but received all the correct parts of one. The Vinyl top is redone as well and is in excellent condition with no damages or fading. Newer Weld Racing wheels were installed with big 295/50 tires to give it that typical Muscle Car look. Rust repairs were performed during the restoration and a new trunk pan was installed as well as lower door panels.
The interior is also in very good condition. Originally the car came with a full burnt orange interior. However, the previous owner replaced the door cards and seat covers to white. The original parts are still in excellent condition and come with the car. The original steering wheel has been replaced with a Grant steering wheel. All gauges work as they should and additional gauges for Oil pressure, Coolant temperature and a Volt meter were installed.
Mechanically the car is in very good condition as well. The original 383 2-barrel has been replaced by a mighty 440ci high performance engine with tons of performance parts such as a Proform Drag Racing carb, Holley Street Dominator intake and MSD ignition. To keep all cool, a big aluminum radiator was installed and a transmission cooler. The Transmission was also rebuilt during the restoration. The power steering works great with no play and the power brakes were upgraded to Wilwood brakes in the front.
Overall this is a very clean Coronet with lots of performance, ready to be enjoyed by its next owner!
