1968 Ford Mustang Cabrio California Special Tribute

In 1968, Ford started a limited edition based called the California Special. The California Special featured front Fog Lamps, rear spoiler, Thunderbird tail lights, side stripes, side scoops and pop-open gas cap.
All California Specials were based on Coupes, making this Convertible a California Special Tribute. The car was imported from the US in 2020 and stayed in a private collection until now.
 
The paint of this car is really in excellent condition, exceeding the average American quality paint jobs. The maroon color still shines great and combines perfectly with the tan interior and soft top. The soft top is still in as-new condition, without any rips or damages. New door handles, front and rear bumper are installed prior to the sale.
 
The interior is also in excellent condition. The seats show no wear and new window cranks and arm rest were installed. All gauges work as they should. An additional aftermarket RPM gauge and radio were installed.
 
Mechanically the car is completely gone through. A new fuel pump and fuel sending unit were installed, as well as new fuel lines. All fluids and filters were replaced and the spark plugs and wires were replaced. Brakes were checked and brake fluid change was performed, making this car mechanically sound and ready to be enjoyed! A fresh tune up from has been done so the 302 V8 runs again as it should.
 
Overall this Mustang is in excellent condition with a lovely paint job that is mechanical in great condition, ready to be enjoyed this summer!
